Programme Note

Your favourite pub-based classical-music-and-chill event from the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment is back!

Did you know that as a young boy, Mozart could often be found playing in the noisy, bustling pubs of London? Can you imagine what it must have been like in the crowd, swaying and cheering along as in the relaxed environment, enjoyed a pint with old friends against the backdrop of the weird and wonderful sounds of eighteenth-century instruments?

Experience the authentic Mozart night out, with a little dark Druschetsky, a little show-piece Schubert and a little bad-ass Beethoven thrown in. Between each hit, the musicians of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) will share music trivia and stories about what it was like to roll with the punches as a musician in the 1700s.

Spaces limited, book early to avoid disappointment.
