Programme Note
Spend a day with conductor Neil Ferris and professional singers from Sonoro, one of the UK's leading choral ensembles, to sing choral classics by Elgar, Mozart, Franck, Lotti, Brahms and J. S. Bach, and to explore newly composed partner pieces by some of today’s leading composers.
This workshop has been designed to both challenge and inspire confidence, and participants will receive expert advice on vocal techniques and interpretation.
Participants will be supported by Sonoro singers on each voice part, but some experience of reading music is required.
There will be an informal public performance at 5:30pm performed by Sonoro, University of Reading choirs and workshop participants.
Please note that participants in the workshop must be over the age of 18.
This workshop is made possible by the kind donation of The Rozanda Trust, in memory of Guy Haworth.
