Programme Note

Join us for some blue notes as we explore the boundary between jazz and classical music, and the influence of the early 20th-Century American musical landscape. We will also be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Gershwin’s unforgettable Rhapsody in Blue in an exciting new arrangement for our pupils with one of our senior pianists leading the way and Resident Artist Julian Bliss playing the famous opening glissando. The programme will also include Ravel's Violin Sonata No 2.
