At exactly the same time, as a 12-year-old at YMS, I was throwing myself with equal enthusiasm into learning those same quartets under the inspiring tutelage of Peter Norris. I knew then that my musical life would be centred around this wonderful and enriching repertoire. Now, fifty years later, I’m thrilled to have joined the dream team of the Brodskys, with all of our original enthusiasm undimmed.
