The UK's first women and non-binary orchestra showcase string quartets written by women in a converted postal sorting office. Her Ensemble bring together a diverse group of like-minded friends who are now some of the most in demand players in the UK and abroad. Founder Ellie Consta was inspired to form Her Ensemble after realising that in 2019/20 just 3.6% of the classical music pieces performed worldwide were written by women. Their concert will showcase their favourite repertoire: 45 minutes of extraordinary music written for strings. This event features two short classical sets, one early evening at 6pm, one late from 8pm. All tickets to the late set include live jazz for the rest of the night.
