Programme Note

Celebrating the beauty, power and life-giving forces of water, Bogdan Suciu and friends present a unique combination of virtuoso classical piano, dance and physical movement based on Tai-Chi, Parkour, Capoeira, Hip-Hop and Breakdancing.

Bogdan Suciu is a young Romanian pianist and Parkour practitioner. He studied with internationally-renowned concert pianist Anthony Hewitt at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating with First-Class Honours, and is already on his way to becoming a respected pianist and musician. In January 2019 he was selected to take part in a collaborative scheme for ballet pianists between the RBC and Elmhurst Ballet School. Away from the piano, Bogdan assiduously practices movement-related disciplines such as Parkour and Freerunning, the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan, Breakdance and Capoeira. He received his 1st4Sport qualification for Level 1 Parkour Coaching in December 2018.
