The beautiful Bach Double Violin Concerto will be performed by soloists, Wendy Stahl local violin teacher and violinist in the group Extreme Baroque together with star pupil Zac Chantler. Burlesque de Quixotte lightens the mood as Telemann interprets Cervantes crazy stories of the exploits of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Concerti Grossi by Handel and Corelli provide some more traditional baroque fare before Biber's Battalia tells the story of a battle with 'dissolute, revelling musketeers' with simulated musket fire provided by the stringed instruments!
