The Leeds International Chamber Series 2026/27, In the Shadows of Giants, opens with chamber music from two continents.
Ina Boyle’s String Quartet speaks with a distinctive voice of quiet intensity. Amy Beach, one of America’s most gifted late Romantic composers, brings sweeping emotion and generosity to her Piano Quintet. Dvořák’s much-loved ‘American’ Quartet closes the evening, mixing echoes of American folk music and spirituals with his own Bohemian voice.
