Add to my Calendar 10-07-2021 19:30 10-07-2021 21:30 36 English Music Festival in Truro 2021: St Mary's Singers Join us for a day of concerts in glorious Truro Cathedral, with a violin-and-piano recital including sonatas by Elgar and Parry alongside Vaughan Williams’s The Lark Ascending; a concert to celebrate the 80th birthday of local Cornish composer Judith Bailey; and an evening choral concert with works by Elgar, Parry, Stanford and Tallis. The concerts will take place throughout the day on Saturday 10 July — the programme may be viewed on this page; and booking can be made through our Online Box Office. Short biographies of the artists may be found below. We will be following all government and World Health Organisation recommendations and policies to keep our audiences safe (which, at present, includes the use of face coverings for all audience members except those who are exempt, physical distancing throughout the Cathedral, hand sanitising stations and one-way systems around the venue), so please rest assured that the concerts will be taking place in a safe environment.
