The Royal School of Church Music invites organists around the world - professional or amateur, beginner or advanced - to join in a special mass play along of the Largo from Handel’s Xerxes (Ombra mai fu) on Saturday 22nd November (St Cecilia’s Day) at 14:00 GMT. Participants are encouraged to share their performances on social media using the hashtag #HandsOnWithHandel and tagging @RSCMCentre. The aim of this initiative is to encourage churches to host 'open console' sessions, introducing more people to the organ, and to inspire people around the world to play the organ. The music for the mass play along is available in easy, intermediate, and full arrangements from the RSCM website, with additional free resources like session plans and practice tips.
