Add to my Calendar 09-06-2019 18:45 09-06-2019 20:45 36 Blackdowns Early Music Projects: Komm, Heiliger Geist BEMP's Principal Musical Director JanJoost van Elburg brings the Bartholomew Consort of Oxford to complete the Spring Festival series in Wellington School Chapel. JanJoost is himself a highly respected interpreter of the music of the Bach family, and performs their choral repertoire regularly in his position as musical director of the WesterKerk in Amsterdam, where there he trains the choir and directs teh preofessional baroque orchestra, t'Kabinett. The Bartholomew Consort was established under JanJoost in 2001 with members drawn from all over the UK and the Netherlands. The group has performed regularly in Oxford and frequently visits other areas of the UK, including Scotland, the South West and London, as well as having travelled in Europe (France, Bulgaria, The Netherlands) on several occasions.
