Programme Note

Two remarkable young British artists offer their shared vision of works that explore everything from the tender heartedness of Beethoven’s Variations on ‘Bei Männern, welche Liebe fühlen’ and pathos of Janáček’s Pohádka, written following the tragic death of his daughter, to the symphonic grandeur of Brahms’s F major Cello Sonata.
