Programme Note

The Berkshire Chamber Music Festival is a series of world class chamber music concerts and educational workshops, associated with Bradfield College, located in the heart of Berkshire.

At the core of this festival is a desire to share a love of classical music, engaging people of all backgrounds in the appreciation of its beauty. Through our playing we hope to break down barriers and tell stories through sound. In our workshops we aim to inspire, bringing an energy that enables people to open their minds and spark passion among those who haven’t yet discovered the power of classical music.

The inaugural festival will take place in the first week of October 2019. Concerts will take place at Bradfield College the 3rd of October, Windsor Parish Church on the 4th of October and the Church of St Nicholas in Newbury on the 5th of October (all concerts are at 7:30) and workshops will reach children at local primary, prep and SEN schools in the surrounding areas. With a line-up of international musicians, we hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a fantastic week of music.
