Programme Note

The Fulltone Orchestra will take you on a musical journey back to Hollywood’s most iconic era with their new concert, The Golden Age of Hollywood. This very gorgeous event will feature the unforgettable music from some of the most beloved films in cinema history, promising a night full of nostalgia and great musical hits from an era that shaped the film world of the 20’s to 60’s.

Our fifty strong orchestra will bring to life the soundtracks that made movies like The Magnificent Seven, Ben-Hur, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s unforgettable. Under the baton of Anthony Brown, you’ll hear the music of legendary composers like Max Steiner, Bernard Herrmann, and Henry Mancini—composers who lit up the screen with their exceptional music. They will be joined by singers Edward Kerr and Jemma Brown and will be singing the big golden screen musicals, who were massive at the time. It will be an awesome evening of music that you really won’t forget!
