A concert to celebrate the power of music and youth! Will Todd's Mass in Blue is an electrifying jazz setting of the Latin Mass sung here by a 170-strong chorus of students and teachers from Worcestershire, the UK and the USA, with the composer at the piano, the Will Todd Ensemble, soprano soloist Lorna James and conductor Neil Ferris. The programme will be presented by saxophonist and special Guest Artist, Jess Gillam MBE, who performs her own dazzling solo set. The concert begins with choral improvisations led by inspirational vocalist/composer Aga Serugo-Lugo, and is followed by Todd's beautiful arrangement of Amazing Grace with a specially composed saxophone solo for Jess Gillam and this evening's occasion.
