Ilona Domnich, has been described as ”a memorable voice of silken beauty with a luminous edge to the tone, a sensitive musician and an actress of magnetic presence” (Opera Now) and was chosen by Opera Now as one of the magazine’s Top 10 high flyers, “a new generation of sopranos who are having impressive careers”. Ilona was also highlighted as ‘artist of the month’ in Opera magazine and is the Daily Telegraph’s choice of ‘best British-based talent’.  Ilona first came to the attention of legendary singing teacher, Vera Rosza during a masterclass. She went on to win the prestigious Wingate scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music and since those early days has gained a formidable international reputation for daring and excellence on stage. Ilona’s operatic highlights include Tosca, Tatiana (Onegin), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Mimi (La Boheme), Glauce (Medea), Melisande (Pelleas et Melisande), Magda (La Rondine), Gilda (Rigoletto), Olympia/Antonia/Giulietta (Tales of Hoffmann), Jacqueline (Fortunio), Elle (La Voix Humaine), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Eurydice (Der neue Orpheus), Venus (Judgement of Paris), Madam Herz (Der Schauspieldirektor), Blondchen (Die Entfhrung aus dem Serail).  Ilona has worked in close collaboration with an impressive host of organisations, including English National Opera, BBC Concert Orchestra, Buxton Opera Festival, English Touring Opera, Northern Sinfonia, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, and Southbank Sinfonia. Ilona has taken her performances across the globe, taking in Paris, Rome, St. Petersburg, Jerusalem, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Dubai and Beirut; as well as having performed in some of London’s most respected venues including Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and Barbican. Simon Over Ilona Domnich is joined by Simon Over, whose career has flourished as a celebrated and inspired pianist, organist and composer, with an impressive repertoire of Bach, Beethoven and Handel.   Simon trained at Wells Cathedral as an Organ scholar, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and at the Royal Academy of Music, and went on to study music at Oxford. Throughout his career, Simon has been Director of Music at St Margaret’s, the Parliament Church as part of the music staff of Westminster Abbey.  Founding the Southbank Sinfonia in 2001, Simon has dedicated the past 22 years to creating a place for musicians taking the next step in their careers, and has conducted many of the Sinfonia’s concerts in some of the most esteemed venues throughout the UK and Europe, including St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, St James’s Palace, The Royal Opera House and Westminster Abbey. Simon conducts the Parliament Choir, the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra in New Zealand and is a Director of the Anghiari Festival in Tuscany as well as a Director of Music at the RAF church.   With Special Guest Jean-Kristof Bouton Jean-Kristof Bouton is a Canadian-born baritone who has lived in London since November 2019. In 2005 he moved to Romania to pursue his Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in Musical Interpretation – Bel Canto at the National University of Music in Bucharest from 2005 to 2012, under the guidance of renowned soprano and teacher Eleonora Enachescu. After his studies, Jean-Kristof joined the troupe of the National Opera of Iasi, where he was Soloist from 2012 to 2019, giving him the opportunity to build a solid repertoire. Jean-Kristof has performed at many prominent Opera houses across the globe, including Theatre des Champs-Elysees, Opera de Nice, Teatro de la Maestranza, and the Hong Jong Opera. Jean-Kristof Bouton is a Canadian-born baritone who has lived in London since November 2019.
