Programme Note

Comprising of Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty and American pianist Stephanie Tang, the Trio has won multiple awards to date, including first prize at the 70th Royal Over-Seas League Competition for Strings and Piano Ensemble - hailed for their “nuanced and powerful performance”, the prestigious 2023 Parkhouse Award held at Wigmore Hall earlier this year, and the 2022 NEW FORMATS Project Prize in Graz, Austria.

"I have rarely been so excited by performers new to me; they are that special in a field of many fine young ensembles." (Strings Attached Music)

They were awarded the position of RNCM Junior Fellows of Chamber Music for 23/24, where the Head of Chamber Music said "the Trio were outstanding in their audition. I’m confident they will be an exciting and inspirational addition to our department".
