From the timeless purity of Mozart and the luminous textures of Gjeilo, to the boldness of Randall Thompson and the electrifying rhythms of Astor Piazzolla, this programme explores the sacred, the sublime, and the sensual. The evening culminates in Martín Palmeri's explosive MISATANGO - a fusion of Latin Mass and Latin American Tango, featuring international guest - the acclaimed bandoneon virtuoso Marcelo Nisinman - a thrilling finale to an extraordinary celebration, all set in the stunning acoustics of York Guildhall.
