The series concerts range from contemporary music from cellist Joseph Spooner and violinist Rupert Marshall-Luck, through solo-piano music by Parry, Elgar and Vaughan Williams from pianist Duncan Honeybourne and culminates in the World Première of Ivor Gurney’s intense and moving Sonata in D major.
