The first half concludes with the world premiere of From Shadows Hope Shall Rise, composed by James Francis Brown, performed by a school choir and Hertford Chamber Choir, conducted by Chris McGinity.Following the interval, Manvinder Rattan, Musical Director of Hertford Chamber Choir, leads the ensemble in a selection of choral music spanning centuries. This includes Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, a powerful and moving work that blends traditional and contemporary elements to evoke both the horrors of war and the hope for peace.Set in the atmospheric All Saints' Church, Hertford, this promises to be a deeply reflective and memorable concert.
