Hear this renowned chamber choir, celebrating its fortieth anniversary year, singing glorious English and Continental choral music featuring composers for whom 2017 also marks a significant anniversary. The choir will be visiting some of the East of England’s most beautiful cathedrals and churches. St Peter’s Singers have a busy schedule of four concerts and two services of choral evensong on their short tour of Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. St Peter's Singers will sing Choral Evensong to music by composers with a significant anniversary this year : Francis Jackson, who celebrated his 100th birthday earlier in October, and Claudio Monteverdi (born 1567).
