Programme Note
Leeds Minster-based St Peter’s Singers will be touring East Anglia from Saturday 21 October until Wednesday 25 October 2017. Hear this renowned chamber choir, celebrating its fortieth anniversary year, singing glorious English and Continental choral music featuring composers for whom 2017 also marks a significant anniversary. The choir will be visiting some of the East of England’s most beautiful cathedrals and churches. St Peter’s Singers have a busy schedule of four concerts and two services of choral evensong on their short tour of Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
St Peter's Singers' final recital of their 2017 tour of East Anglia brings them to St John's, the lovely Parish Church of Peterborough. The programme continues the theme of musical anniversaries, mixed in with other well-loved sacred choral music favourites.
