Programme Note

The 18-30 Bach Club is inspired by Bach's Friday night concerts at Zimmermann's Coffee House in 1730s Leipzig where talented students, passing musicians and the local townsfolk flocked to enjoy some delicious coffee and delicious music and exchange gossip.. Our 21st century version brings together emerging artists at the start of their careers and young audiences to enjoy the live concert experience in a relaxed, informal and contemporary style. There is time for socialising too. Founded in 2009, the Club's concert at Gresham Centre has become a much-loved highlight of each annual Bachfest. Come and join us. All are welcome.
