The programme commemorates the 100th anniversary of the death of Charles Hubert Parry (1848-1918) with a performance of the Songs of Farewell, one of his finest works, sung by eight fantastic professional singers and directed by Daniel Collins, a member of the internationally renowed choir The Sixteen. The first part is a celebration of 20th century choral music from the British Isles, both sacred and secular. Wine will be available! The first of four concerts in September and October: for details of the others, please see http://www.musicfor.co.uk. Come, have a great evening and support our very talented musicians!
The concert will have no interval, commences at 8pm, and will last approximately one hour.
