He served as Co-Principal Trumpet at English National Opera for four years from 1989-93 and then in 1994 joined the London Philharmonic Orchestra as Principal Trumpet. He has appeared as soloist with the Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall and is the featured instrumentalist on a number of the Orchestra's recordings including Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man and Dave Heath's African Sunrise. Paul was a member of London Brass from 1996 to 2002 and is a Professor at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Mote Hall, Maidstone DD/MM/YYYY
