We shall hear a true gem of the chamber music repertoire, by Brahms. Before that, we will be introduced to trios by Hélène Liebmann, an early 19th C pianist and composer with a Haydn-esque style, and Fanny Mendelssohn (whose assured compositions readily match those of her brother).
