Programme Note

The Pelléas Ensemble – for the unusual combination of viola, flute and harp – are rising stars in chamber music and known for the ‘verve and polish’ of their playing. Tonight’s programme includes selections from Swan Lake and one of the most important of all 20th-century works, Debussy’s sensuous Prélude à l’Après-Midi d’un Faune.
