String quartet Brother Tree Sound takes us on a colourful journey from France to Spain with pieces by Debussy, Elizabeth Maconchy, and Bulgarian composer Dobrinka Tabakova, whose piece is inspired by Miró's impulsive, abstract art. The concert takes place in the light-filled church of St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe in the City of London. Its fascinating name comes from the Royal Wardrobe of Edward III, moved from the Tower of London to Baynard’s Castle (the church's original site) in the 13th century.
