Programme Note

It's hard to imagine a Swaledale Festival without some of these artists appearing somewhere. This year they appear as the Dodo Street Band, a joyful and contagious blend of Celtic, gypsy and klezmer music played by Red Priest geniuses Piers Adams and Adam Summerhayes alongside a wizard of the accordion, a dazzling Irish percussionist, and some random bass player who puts Swaledale Festival together. Keep your feet still if you can!
