Programme Note

There will be intervals after Act 1 and 2.

To mark the centenary of its première, we are thrilled to present Puccini’s dramatic final opera for the first time at St Endellion, with Rachel Nicholls in the title role, Andrés Presno as Calaf and Rachel McLean as Liù. Our Artistic Director, Paul Daniel, conducts and Bill Bankes-Jones returns to direct after last year’s unforgettable Falstaff! The Festival Orchestra, Chorus and children are joined by Julian Close, Nicholas Watts, Jonathan Cooke, Gareth Brynmor John, Andrew Slater and ‘ragazzi’ from Cornwall Youth Choirs.
