Programme Note

Join us to raise the curtain on Summer 2026! Celebrating Britten 50 years on, Puccini, on Turandot's 100th birthday and Arvo Pärt, 90 years young. The Festival Chorus, Orchestra and soloists, including Roderick Williams, Rachel Nicholls and Joely Koos with the Truro Cathedral Choristers, offer a glorious taste of what's to come. We also invite you to sing with us in Britten's thrilling Building of the House Overture. Conducted by Paul Daniel and presented by Victoria Newlyn.

The image featured here is Festival Te Deum, op. 32, by our Artist-in-Residence, Jane Mackay, inspired by the music of Benjamin Britten.
