Programme Note

Our concert features one of the most iconic symphonies and one of the fastest rising stars in classical music.

Maxim Kinasov returns to St George's after his towering performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto no. 1, this time playing Mozart's most personal and emotional concerto.

Cesar Franck's highly romantic symphony, with the famous chaconne at its heart, is hailed as one of the greatest and takes us on a sweeping journey of excitement, atmosphere and climaxes of epic proportions.

Introduced in an informal manner by conductor Stefan Hofkes, this magical programme will be a musical feast for everybody, young or old.
