This exciting and prestigious new concert series will feature all 32 of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas throughout 2024. Featuring exceptional performances from leading UK and international pianists, these concerts will be an unrivalled opportunity to enjoy some of the world's greatest piano repertoire, as curated by our guest performers. Set in the stunning candlelit venue of St Giles Cathedral, with it's newly installed Steinway Grand Piano, this will be a musical experience to remember! St Giles is situated in the heart of the Royal Mile with many bars and restaurants nearby to complete your evening.Pianist Dominic Degavino has performed concerts in venues across the United Kingdom and beyond, including solo performances at the Wigmore Hall and Southbank Centre, London as a Park Lane Group artist, at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester and the Lichfield and Edinburgh festivals, among others. Concerto appearances include performances with the Manchester Camerata and RNCM Symphony Orchestra.Dominic has achieved considerable competition success, including prizes at the Concours International de Piano d'Epinal in France, J.N. Hummel International Piano Competition in Slovakia, and the Tunbridge Wells International Young Concert Artists Competition and the Royal Over-Seas League Arts Competition in the UK. He is also a recipient of the prestigious RNCM Gold Medal. He has performed extensively as a member of both the Tillett Trust DEBUT and the Countess of Munster Trust recital schemes.
