St Giles Cathedral plays host to the inaugural Edinburgh Royal Mile International Piano Series. This exciting and prestigious new concert series will feature all 32 of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas throughout 2024. About Petr Limanov
Winner of Nikolai Rubinstein Piano Competition, pupil of Maria João Pires and Dmitri Alexeev, award-winning Russian-born British pianist Petr Limonov is increasingly sought-after as a soloist worldwide. His notable appearances include La Roque d’Antheron festival, Belgais Center for Arts, Wigmore Hall, Southbank Centre, Cadogan Hall, Salle Cortot, Kolarac Hall, the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, a solo recital in The Duke’s Hall for His Majesty King Charles III, Lerici Music Festival, TV appearances for BBC Proms Extra, Podium Witteman and broadcasts for BBC Radio 3 and radio France.
