This exciting and prestigious new concert series will feature all 32 of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas throughout the 2024 season. Featuring exceptional performances from leading UK and international pianists, these concerts will be an unrivalled opportunity to enjoy some of the world's greatest piano repertoire, as curated by our guest performers. Set in the stunning candlelit venue of St Giles Cathedral, with it's newly installed Steinway Grand Piano, this will be a musical experience to remember! St Giles is situated in the heart of the Royal Mile with many bars and restaurants nearby to complete your evening.Warren Mailley-Smith has developed a large following across the UK, with audiences warming to his outstanding pianism, effortless technique and charismatic charm. He made waves in the music world in 2015 through his extraordinary achievement of performing the complete solo works of Chopin. His career has taken him all over the world, with solo performances in Australia, Europe and most recently solo tours in China and the USA. He has given acclaimed solo recitals at The Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and has performed for the British Royal Family on numerous occasions. One of the busiest concert pianists of his generation and gave over 100 solo performances in 2022. He has 30 piano concertos in his repertoire, having made his concerto debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.   Warren’s growing discography has made an impact on critics, broadcasters and the public alike. His recordings have been featured by Classic FM as CD of the Week and his recordings are featured regularly on Classic FM and the BBC.  He is currently recording the complete works of Chopin over a 4-year period for a 12-disc set for Sleeveless Records.
