The result is one of Jelinek's most personal and touching works ever."What Jelinek demonstrates with virtuosity are the abysses of our speech, the eloquent concealment, the talking away, the skill of keeping the truth at bay by discussing and seemingly reflecting on it - yes: to evade pain".
