Programme Note

The North Staffs Symphony Orchestra's Spring Concert has a distinct Scottish flavour as it opens with Hamish MacCunn's  rousing overture 'The Land of the Mountain and the Flood'. The orchestra then welcomes Georgina Bloomfield, a final year student at the RNCM to perform Bruch's beautiful Scottish Fantasyfor violin built on four folk melodies. The concert ends with Dvorak's less well-known  Symphony No.4 in D minor.

The venue has access for people with disabilties.
