St Mary le Strand (The "Jewel" of the Strand) plays host to the second Strand International Piano Series. Further to it's launch to great acclaim in the 2022-23 season, the new series will feature all 32 of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas. London's most intimate concert venue boasts stunning architecture, beautiful acoustics and a brand new Steinway concert grand piano.

About Warren Mailley-Smith
In 2016 Warren Mailley-Smith became the first British pianist to perform Chopin’s complete works for solo piano from memory in a series of 11 recitals at St John’s Smith Square. Hailed by the critics as an “epic achievement”, Mailley-Smith will repeat the series across the UK in coming seasons. He has given acclaimed solo recitals at The Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and has performed for the British Royal Family on numerous occasions. One of the busiest concert pianists of his generation, he will give over 100 solo performances in 2021-22. During the Coronavirus Pandemic he performed over 80 online solo concerts, with over 120 works to over 300,000 people worldwide has been at the forefront of developing online streaming as a means for musicians to continue performing. He is Artistic Director of www.CityMusicLive.co.uk.
A passionate chamber musician, he is Artistic Director of the Piccadilly Chamber Music Series and is founder and Artistic Director of The Piccadilly Sinfonia.
