Add to my Calendar 16-12-2017 19:30 16-12-2017 21:30 36 Lewisham Choral Society: A Christmas Fantasy Ralph Vaughan Williams arranged folk carols from across the land to create his delightful Fantasia on Christmas Carols and this sparkling collection of melodies will form one of the highlights of Lewisham Choral Society’s Christmas concert this year. After a 5-year gap, the choir is delighted to return to its old familiar home of Lewisham’s parish church of St Mary the Virgin. Like your mother’s Christmas pudding, it will present a rich mixture of seasonal fare including traditional carols for choir and audience and original Yuletide tunes by Tchaikovsky, John Rutter, William Mathias, John Tavener and Carl Rütti for the choir alone.
