Her recently released album ‘An American Affair’ received glowing acclaim: ‘Friend’s tone, pure and clear, allied to her discerningly handled virtuosity makes for a performance to remember’ (The Gramophone).  In live performance, her intimate connection with her audience creates a special atmosphere. Lisa, accompanied by Martin Radford (cello) and Mark Kinkaid (piano) as Lisa Friend Trio, returns to Bradfield Festival with a new programme of popular, attractive classical, film and song music, including works from her new album, An American Affair’, that should appeal to all. Pianist Mark Kincaid is a freelance accompanist for the Royal College, Royal Academy and Guildhall Schools of Music, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Opera repetiteur and music educator.   Martin Radford, cellist and composer performs as a solo, chamber and session musician with a keen interest in contemporary classical music and diverse genres.  He is event co-ordinator of the London International Piano Competition.  St Nicholas' Church, Sheffield DD/MM/YYYY
