Programme Note

Described by The Times as "Britain's favourite clarinettist", Emma Johnson is one of the UK's biggest selling artists. She performs for Eaton Square Concerts with her versatile wind and string group 'Emma Johnson and Friends'. Music Web International hailed their recent recording of the Schubert Octet as "delightful music in first-rate performances this disc is a winner".  The group's artists include one of today's most successful string quartets, the Carducci Quartet, principle horn of the Royal Northern Sinfonia and London Mozart Players Peter Francomb and Professor of Double Bass as Trinity Laban School of Music and Dance, Chris West.

They perform one of Beethoven's most successful and popular works, his 'Septet', alongside works by Weber and Brahms.
