More recently she has become Director of ‘Emma Johnson and Friends’, a versatile wind and string group, which tonight includes the young Scottish horn player, Alec Frank-Gemmill, ‘a phenomenon with a tone of golden purity, wraparound warmth and ecstatic afterglow’ [Financial Times].
