Programme Note

Join us on Saturday 22nd March, as part of the wonderful Classical Sheffield Classical Weekend, for a performance of three wonderful pieces that celebrate dance in a variety of forms.

We are so excited to be joined by the spectacularly talented Cellist Gemma Rosefield for this one. She will be playing a cello concerto 'Dance' by Anna Clyne.

It also marks a special occasion for our Spanish Musical Director Jon Malaxetxebarria to conduct the gorgeous flamenco-infused ballet "The Three Corned Hat" by one of Spain's most distinguished composers, Manuel De Falla.

This will *also* be accompanied by some fantastic live  dancers from Sheffield, led by fantastic Sheffield Choreographer Georgia Rowan.

All kicked off with the bombastic "Four Scottish Dances" by Malcolm Arnold. A piece that will not fail to make you smile.

A concert to move, uplift and excite you, guaranteed to get you tapping your feet.
