Of one of his Bach interpretations, The Scotsman wrote: ‘Esfahani’s Goldbergs were a deeply human experience, brimming with humour and wit, cool objectivity, deep tragedy and startling joy.’ This concert will conclude with Mahan Esfahani being awarded the Wigmore Hall Medal.
