Come and join amateur singers from across the country for this one-day choral workshop hosted by Worcester Festival Choral Society, exploring Sir Edward Elgar's choral classic The Music Makers, in the magnificent surroundings of Worcester Cathedral ... the heart of Elgar country.The Come & Sing day will include singing, vocal tips, teamwork and an informal performance – all in the company of around 150 other musically minded people and under the expert direction of WFCS Conductor - and Worcester Cathedral's Music Director - Samuel Hudson.You don't have to have choral experience, but some ability to read music is useful. Tickets are £20 for adults and £10 for full time students (under 18s accompanied by an adult). Within that we’ll lend you a vocal score for the day, and lay on free tea and coffee. You can also treat yourself to our home-made cake, pre-order one of our delicious packed lunches, or eat at one of historic Worcester's many restaurants.You can book your ticket and optional packed lunch from 1January 2020 (booking deadline 30th March).
