Formed in 2014, the musicians met at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and were first prize winners this February at the International Handel Festival in Gottingen. Their programme in York reflects the genius of two European masters of their craft – both towering influences in their own countries – and how they may have been inspired by one another.
