Forty years on, Monteverdi has remained a constant and Robert Hollingworth and I Fagiolini have gone on to rethink exactly what a vocal group does, from unstageable a cappella to cross-cultural projects, world-premiere recordings, the podcast Choral Chihuahua – and plenty of films.
