Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London presents this very special concert featuring two of its resident ensembles. In the first half the hand-picked Brandenburg Singers will perform choral favourites old and new including Handel's beautiful 'Ombra mai fu' and Vivaldi's up-lifting 'Gloria in excelsis Deo'. In the second half they will be joined by the Brandenburg Festival Chorus to perform Fauré's haunting Requiem, which will have been prepared as part of a Come & Sing Day on Sunday 23rd. Artistic Director of the festival Robert Porter conducts and accompaniment will be on the organ.
