An amazingly versatile musician, Sir Karl has worked as a jazz saxophonist, pianist and oboist with jazz and rock groups, composed music for Levis and Renault, appeared on Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, conducted the breakthrough crossover project Adiemus, and composed one of the best-loved choral works of all time, The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, which was named no. 1 in Classic FM's list of top ten works by living composers in 2008. HIs subsequent choral works have also become staples of the repertoire, and the Angmering Chorale will perform some of their favourites in this very special concert.
