Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London 2016 welcomes the return of festival regulars Vivamus and its conductor Rufus Frowde. This talented choir, predominantly made up of postgraduate students and young professionals, is sure to be a highlight of the Spring Series. They will be joined by the brilliant Brandenburg Sinfonia for this programme of classical meets neo-classical, all in the beautiful candlelit surroundings of St Martin-in-the Fields. Poulenc’s Mass in G minor and Exultate Deo will be heard alongside Mozart’s magnificent Solemn Vespers, and there will also be a performance of his dazzling Piano Concerto No. 13 in C major.
